The Wiz To Stream Online Next Week

Tonight's stream of Peter Pan may have been cancelled, but 'The Shows Must Go On' have got in nice and early with the announcement of the next show in the weekly series.

Following the trend of recent weeks, we are going to be treated to another show that was a former NBC live broadcast - this time it is the turn of The Wiz which was originally aired in 2015.

This production features an all star cast including Queen Latifah, Ne-Yo, Mary J Blige, Elijah Kelly, Uzo Aduba and Shanice Williams.

Originally a Broadway musical in 1975, this reinterpretation of The Wizard of Oz is perhaps most famous for its 1978 film adaptation starring Michael Jackson and Diana Ross and features classic songs including 'Ease on down the road' and the phenomenal 'Home'.

This has been the show I have been most excited to see as I somehow missed it the first time around. It will be available to stream for 48 hours on youtube.com/theshowsmustgoon from Friday 12th June at 7pm. My review will follow the next day.
