A new streaming concert has been announced. Turn Up will be recorded live with a band at Cadogan Hall and streamed over 2 nights.
Created by star of Waitress, Dear Evan Hansen and Dreamgirls Nicole Raquel Dennis and Motown star Ryan Carter, the event will showcase black voices from the West end and Broadway and will raise money for The Bail Project, The Okra Project, The Black Curriculum and UK Black Pride.
Nicole said "Turn Up! is something that we've needed in London for a long time. Black voices need to be heard and celebrated now and forever. Hopefully this will be the start of many more celebrations to come"
The show is set to feature some of the very best theatre has to offer from both sides of the Atlantic, including Trevor Dion Nicholas, Sharon Rose, Cedric Neal, Layton Williams, Melanie La Barrie, Alexia Khadime, Marcus Collins and Vinegar Strokes.
The exact date this will be streamed is yet to be confirmed, but is expected to be in early July. This looks like an amazing event that is not to be missed!
