Who doesn't love a brand new musical? Today we are being treated to one as the cast recording for The Rhythmics has been unleashed online.
Created by Poppy Burton-Morgan and Ben Glasstone, the cast album was recorded during lockdown and includes Neil McDermott from Pretty Woman, Eleanor Kane from Fun Home and Samuel Thomas from The Last Five Years.
The show is about a group of burly blokes who twirl their 'Ribbons of fire' and go on to become Manchester's premier all male rhythmic gymnastics performance ensemble. It has been described as Calendar Girls meets The Full Monty
The show will incorporate fully integrated BSL choreography from Mark Smith. which will be featured in a soon to be released music video
