We’re nearly a quarter into 2025 already and March is bringing with it some exciting shows as winter turns into Spring, with brand new shows, one-off events, transfers and returns all giving us plenty to look forward to. Here are 40 shows to check out in March:

James Graham brings Jacob Dunne’s powerful true-life account to the stage of how an impulsive punch leads to fatal consequences.

CRY-BABY, THE MUSICAL (Arcola Theatre)

3rd March – 12th April
The UK premiere of the Tony nominated cult-classic from the makers of Hairspray is a tale of forbidden love and teen rebellion with the 17-strong cast the largest ensemble for any production in the Arcola’s history.

4th – 8th March

5th March – 3rd May
Arthur Miller’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play returns for a new tour starring David Hayman as Willy Loman. The tour kicks off at Glasgow’s Pavilion Theatre.

7th March – 24th May
Following its European premiere in 2023, the acclaimed production returns for a national tour starring Clifford Samuel and Daniel Ward. An exhilarating, darkly comic and provocative satire on capitalism and Black performance, that explores the commodification of the Black experience through the mediums of minstrelsy, hip-hop and afro-futurism.

9th March
The legendary composer takes to the stage for two performances performing his most iconic songs and stories behind them as well as personal anecdotes from his illustrious career. Responsible for the songs in Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid and Pocahontas, prepare for some classics.
