It's been nine months since Come From Away last performed in the West End but we won't have too long to wait until we can make a welcome return to the rock. Put a candle in the window and make sure the kettle's on as the show has announced it will be returning in the near future.
The show will be back at its home of the Phoenix Theatre for a concert production. It will play a limited season from February 10th - 27th 2021. The full cast and the band will perform with minimal props and costumes.
The theatre will be operating with safety measures including social distancing in place on stage and in the audience. The cast includes Alice Fearn, Jenna Boyd, Tarinn Callender, James Doherty, Mary Doherty, Alasdair Harvey and Jonathan Andrew Hume
The heart-warming true story of the town of Gander in Newfoundland opening their homes and their hearts to strangers when 38 planes were forced to land after the atrocities of 9/11 has won rave reviews and a whole host of awards since opening in the West End in 2019. While 2020 was a quieter year for the show, normal service should hopefully resume in 2021. After the year we have all had, this beautiful show is just what we all need.
Tickets are on sale tomorrow from https://comefromawaylondon.co.uk/
